David Phillips is delighted to announce the agreed merger with Monty Space, with its Founder Sam Wilsher joining the business in the newly-created role of Group Head of Rental. Monty Space is a subscription furniture rental service providing everything from desks to sofas, with a core mission to make renting furniture simple whilst reducing the impact on the environment. Sam Wilsher started the business drawing on his own difficult personal experience of moving between homes, with the belief that when life changes, our furniture should be able to change with us – without overspending or damaging the planet in the process.

Sam brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the new role, as David Phillips expands its Furniture Rental Service. Working with Nicky Bloom, Rental Sales Director and Tali Leggett, Head of Rental Design, the team will continue to drive the business’ rental offering especially within the emerging Build-to-Rent market, as well as meeting the growing demand within the consumer market for rental furniture for both long and short-term use.
