Brooding wallpapers with a feminine edge are going to be big news in 2024, according to new research from family-run wallpaper retailer Beautiful Walls. Using data from Pinterest trends, Beautiful Walls have found that searches for ‘dark feminine bedroom’ are up 50% over the last month, and 400% over the last year.

Tim Dixon, Managing Director of Beautiful Walls, said: “We are seeing a switch on the idea of traditional femininity. Instead of light shades and airy pastels, we are seeing rich jewel tones and moody darks like charcoal and navy being embraced.
